Career Experience

Michael is a partner with Papazian Heisey Myers and his practice includes a broad range of litigation and advocacy areas, concentrating in commercial litigation and environmental/municipal administrative hearings.

Michael is experienced in construction lien litigation and, in the course of the environmental/municipal portion of his practice, has appeared before the Ontario Municipal Board, City Councils and boards appointed under the Expropriations Act. He has addressed issues relating to land use planning, environmental, acoustical and safety issues, and the feasibility of residential and commercial land uses nearby pre-existing industrial and transportation uses, including rail yards and railway corridors.

Michael is currently a member of the Property Standards Committee of the Town of Oakville, which hears and determines appeals from property standards by-law compliance orders.
