Career Experience
Philip joined PHM after completing his articles here in 2001.
He has focused his practice in litigation, primarily in debt collection and mortgage enforcement. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on numerous motions and hearings. He has also appeared before the Court of Appeal and Divisional Court.
He also practices in the following:
- commercial leasing and franchising matters
- insurance defence and coverage
- privacy law compliance
Professional Development
Philip acts on the board of directors for the Korean-Canadian Scholarship Foundation and is an active member of the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association and was a presenter at the 2009 Six-Minute Debtor-Creditor and Insolvency Lawyer seminar, speaking on guarantees.
